Start Here: Keep It Simple
A post can spark interest.
A conversation is what moves people to action.
That’s why growing your business is not just about posting more. It’s about learning how to turn engagement into simple, natural conversations that lead somewhere.
You do not need to be pushy. You do not need a perfect script. And you do not need to know everything.
You just need a simple process you can use again and again.
The Goal
Your goal is not to pressure people.
Your goal is to connect, ask good questions, understand what they need, and guide them to the right next step.
That is how trust is built.
That is how customer relationships can begin.
And that is how duplication happens.
This should feel like a real conversation — not a pitch.
Step 1: Respond Quickly and Keep It Easy
When someone comments on your post, reacts to your story, or engages with your content, do not let it sit too long.
Reach out.
Keep it simple. Keep it natural. Make it easy for them to respond.
You can say:
“Hey! Thanks for commenting. What stood out to you?”
Or:
“Hey! I saw your response to my story. What caught your attention?”
That is all you need.
You are not trying to close them in the first message. You are simply opening the conversation.
Step 2: Ask Questions and Listen Well
This part matters.
Do not jump straight into recommending products. First, find out what they actually want.
Ask one or two simple questions like:
“What are you wanting to improve right now?”
“What are you most curious about?”
“What’s been your biggest struggle lately?”
Then listen.
The better you listen, the better you can serve.
People do not want to feel sold. They want to feel understood.
Step 3: Relate Before You Recommend
Before you share a product, connect with the person.
Share a quick part of your story, your experience, or why you were drawn to MAKE in the first place.
Keep it short and real.
You are not trying to give your full testimony. You are just helping the conversation feel human.
Connection builds trust.
Trust makes the recommendation stronger.
Step 4: Recommend Simply
Once you understand what they need, make a simple recommendation.
Do not overcomplicate it.
Do not give them five options.
Do not try to explain every product MAKE offers.
Just recommend what makes the most sense for them right now.
Be confident.
Be clear.
Be simple.
A focused recommendation is always more effective than an overwhelming one.
Step 5: Guide the Next Step
Do not leave people wondering what to do next.
If they are interested, guide them.
That might be sending a link, pointing them to the MAKE 3 Breakthrough, helping them choose the right starting product, or inviting them to take a closer look.
Your job is not to force the decision.
Your job is to make the next step feel easy.
Step 6: Follow Up
Not everyone is ready right away.
That is normal.
A lot of people need a little time, and often the follow-up is what keeps the conversation moving.
Keep it light. Keep it kind. Keep it low pressure.
You can say:
“Hey! Just wanted to check in and see if you had any questions.”
Or:
“Wanted to follow up and see what you were thinking.”
Following up is not being pushy.
Following up is being thoughtful.
What Not to Do
Do not send long paragraphs.
Do not drop your link without a conversation.
Do not try to explain everything all at once.
Do not rush people.
And do not make this harder than it needs to be.
Simple works. Simple duplicates. Simple grows.
Why This Works
This approach works because people respond to authenticity.
When they feel seen, heard, and supported, they are much more likely to move forward.
It also gives you a process that is easy to repeat and easy to teach.
That matters.
Because building a business is not about having one great conversation.
It is about having the same simple kind of conversation over and over again.
